that's right, coils are just 1/3 of the cost. bags cost as much as coilovers, then comes the management which accounts for the last 1/3.

no reason to buy brand new out of the box tanks, management, etc
getting alot of that stuff lightly used it getting easier to come by

Lol, got you there PD.

You can find some good deals if you know where to look.
The VW community is a great place to find stupid cheap deals on management and airlift universal bags. UAS bags even pop up from time to time but usually need a rebuild.

I'm waiting to see how Scope does with his uber-budget air build.
Little trucker might pull off a basic manual setup for <$1200 including bags, coils and management!
Don't I feel like a sucker buying brand new BC's followed up by a brand new Elevel! lol

I laughed more than I should have...

Right now, I'm building a hella-budget setup, so I'll share the costs with you lol. Ironically, the coils I acquired cost less than the bags that I'm about to pick up. All I'm waiting on now is those bags I mentioned previously, and some miscellaneous hardware bits for mounting the tank and other things.

Default Need help on wheels setup / 94 LS400

Hi,

I'm in the market for some Nismo A34 19in wheels 19x8 with offset of 35. (Forge Rays Wheels) Will these fit a 94 Lexus LS-400? My main concern is will these wheels clear my brakes. My car has Tanaba DF210 springs 1.5 in drop all the way around. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciate!

Thank You!
Phil

phil, those will have no problem fitting. they will also clear your brakes since only 95-up cars have bigger calipers. it will come down to your tire size and brand selection to determine if any scrubbing will take place.

you do know that nismo is a nissan performance parts division right?

Yes and I actually got rid of my 03Z to buy a 94 LS400. Z was fun but the built quality no where close to a LS and this is my 2nd LS. I figured for the price and these are 19's and light. It is not too bad!

IF you read the post above yours that shows a wider wheel with the same offsets clear the brakes
on a ufc1x --so it sounds like you just wanted to name drop the wheels lol
pretty sure i ran a 19x10+30ish and didnt rub anything still

I just notice it when you point out to me. There is no name dropping here, just want it to give out all info before I meet up with seller this weekend and other than clearing the brake, I still need to make sure that I don't rub with 1.5 in drop. I just found out the tires size are Goodyear RS-A 245/40/19 so in your opinion this should fit without any mods?

Thank You!
