1998 LS 400 Wheels ?
Stock chrome wheels need replacing. Bought a set of Konig Lightning wheels that the rep said would fit...they didn't. Front brake caliper was an issue.
Looking for a suggested aftermarket that you gurus could suggest that will fit.
Standard 16's
I know virtually everybody is running the larger wheels that might make fitment easier to clear that caliper, but any ideas for standard 16?
Konig specs
Wheel Diameter 16 in.
Wheel Width (in) 7.000 in.
Wheel Material Aluminum
Primary Wheel Color Black
Wheel Finish Gloss
Manufacturers Wheel Series Konig Lightning Series
Backspacing (in) 5.575 in.
Offset +40.00mm
Wheel Construction 1-piece
Beadlock Included No
Beadlock Functional No
Lug Nut Seat Style Conical seat - 60 degree
Hub Centric No
Center Bore Diameter (in) 2.878 in.
Center Bore Diameter (mm) 73.10mm

e55 AMG monoblocks 18x8 fronts & 18x9 rear 1 mockup pic
Here is the setup Im putting on my 96 ls400
Im going to use 1.25 inch wheel adapters to mount them. 18x8's up front and 18x9's in the rear. I dropped it with tein coilovers. After calculating they should fit pretty flush with the fenders and Im gonna have to roll the fenders for sure. Right now I have the rear wheel on there just to see how they would look. No adapter yet. They will stick out another 1.25 inch. I think they are gonna look great.
