We had to pull the eff out of the back to make it fit. We hammered the fender flat and shoved a jack handle in there til it stopped smoking whilst driving down the road. The fronts weren't too bad with a 215/35/18. Just hammered the fender flat and maxed out the camber.

If you can, post some more pics of that car. I want to see the arch clearence to the wheel. What tire size is in the back? What do you mean by you shoved a jack handel in there till it stopped smoking. Did you use the jack handel as a pry bar to push the quarter pannel out?

Still riden 4x4 for now. I'm doing all my bodywork be for I slamm my car. That way when I put coils on, I can instantly start showen off the new stance with out looking like poop while doing it. My curent wheels are tempary do it my stock tires are dry rotted. Picked thies up for $700 w/ tires. Tires are nice and meaty. They give me all the traction I need, and then some.
Wheel specs: 18x9.5 +38 Rota Grids
Tire specks: Front 235/40, Rear 235/45 Falken

So you did the method of lifting the car with a jack and inserting a pipe/jack handle into the wheel well and slowly lowered the car onto the pipe with the wheel pussing the pipe up. There for pushing the quarter pannel out while rolling it back and forth and slowly lowering the car a little at a time...
That about right?

I know right. That's why I'm trying to figure out what they did.
I'm thinking about getting thoes same wheels. Or at least a stupid cheap wheel that looks decent. I know a lot of people would be saying "WHY?" right now. Its because I'm not wanting to spend >1k on wheels when I don't have a gerage to park my car in. To many theives running around.

I shoved a jack handle in between his tire and the fender and had him drive back and forth until the wheel fit. Obviously a fender roller and a heat gun would be ideal. But he bought the car for $800, so we threw caution into the wind and made the car fit the wheels with the tools available. I've pulled the fenders on every single car i've owned this way. People have been pulling fenders with broomsticks, baseball bats, news papers, jack handles, rolling pins, etc since time started. I don't recommend it if you don't know what you're doing, but it works. If you want flush wheels you may have to move a fender, that's just how the game works.
