Strut Rod Bushings
#16
601,
I am researching this also. The strut rod bushing or cushion attaches at the end of the strut rod. It does not appear in the pictures at the lexus parts sites. Price appears to be about $100+. There are no simple replacements for just the bushing. It looks like a cylindrical shock mount with three bolts sticking out of it. The part number I have found is 4867450030 but I am not 100% sure.

I am pretty that is the part number. It is for bushing only. It is $145 at Sewell and they have a picture of one. If you plug in the part number at Park Place, they list at $145 discounted to $120. If you search under "strut bushing" at the other Lexus forum (Lexusownersclub), one of the first few threads has photos and how to. Very simple repair but parts are not cheap.
There is confusion because I think 95+ models have a different set up where the bushing can be renewed for $35-$45.
