How to know if your car needs "EVO" Rack and Pinion

How can you tell if your rack in pinion comes with or without "Evo" and are they interchangeable, could you use either or? my car is a 1991 Lexus ls400 without air suspension.

Everything that I have read makes me believe if you have an EVO that you can just move it from your old rack to your new rack.

they are not interchangeable...u can call the dealer and give them ur vin to find out if u have it or not...or crawl under it and look to see if u have a solenoid looking thing with wires attached to it.
