I would have loved to have bought a black on black UCF 20!!! But not for more than $8500, private party. What I gathered from my post here is that if you like your car keep it, if you are interested in purchasing a car and have done all the research go for it, a good 95-97 LS should go for around $9K, a good 98-00 LS would go for around $12K. If you paid more or less who cares you got a Lexus, that's the bottomline!! Let's get to more important stuff like PureDrifter's writeup on the IPOD AUX!!!

I am calmed down know. Given our geographical diffrences we are both right. There is an adjustment of somethingldike a grand for being in the NW.
on edmunds.com. I had to go to Bellevue WA t ao get the 95 Black on Black.
I wish I could have made a Vacation out of it and come down to So. Calif. were the market is saturated with LS400 and I could have gotten a loaded 98 for a little more. (Plus Airfare/Vacation)
So I did get ripped for a 95 Stripper. were you guys are.
I gave up air suspension, Nakamichi, and Heated Seats. The last being the worst, I drive to the Beach house every weekend. Two hours and 45 min. Much easier in the LS400 than the Accord.
2nd Luthor is 3rd person, a made up persona. What else would you put on a Lexus? Ok many things, but for me it was available, I kinda like Smallville and my old roomate, that I really dislike, LOVED superman. Oh, I had to put personalized plates on my replacementcar. My insurance wouldn't pay for my plates untill I had a replacement. I didn't want DAY-O that had been on the 98 Acura Integra GSR that had been stolen.
So "Luthor" dosn't have to like the car the 95 Black/Black is Luthor 2. It will still just read LUTHOR on the plate. I may switch from a Creator Lake plate to a Cultoral. I don't like the color, its a artsy orange tones but the letters are Black and they are punched. The Oregon Creator Lake plate is blue with a cool picture, but it looks like you made it on your computor and the letters and # are not raised like when they punch it. It does look kinda cheap.
