I keep getting different answers, but most people are telling me that a single winter shouldnt do much if any damage to any of my aftermarket parts. Im planning on installing atleast coils and an exhaust while im out there. My wheels wont be ready till Jan/Feb anyways. Just dont want to spend dough on getting coils installed than they rust up as soon as I get back to vegas.
The snow and salt wont make a difference about rust for just a few months. But you should still wait on doing the coils and exhaust just so the car will be higher when going through the snow. You don't want it dropped and have to drive through 8" of snow, it's just like driving a plow. I think this is gonna be a bad winter. We're already getting a big storm (Noreaster) this side of the country tomorrow night. They're calling for 6" to 12" where I'm at.
