Read the post directly above yours. As stated before, the higher theoffset the more the wheel stick in toward the car. The lower it is the more it will move outward towards the fenders. +40 is a pretty good offset,however it is not flush with the fender. As far as the wheels themselves. Not quite my taste, however this is your car and just get what you like, Please heed the (serious)advice given here as there are many here who are allergic to Ebay. Just make sure that ALL of the numbers match up (5X114.3, 60.1 hub,, these are the basic numbers for your car itself). If you dont have at least these 2 numbers stated above or you cannot get a Hubcentric ring to compensate for the difference in the bore of your hub (60.1) to compensate for the center bore of the rim, then leave it alone. As several stated above, you will get vibrations, which are more annoying than anything,, they will not fit right, and you will put more pressure on the studs b/c your rims will be what is called LUGCENTRIC instead of HUBCENTRIC(which is what you want,, rings or not)
This is my '92 and I am running 18's with a +40 offset (just wanted to give you a better look) If you look at my back wheel, you can clearly see that it is not flush with the fender at all. It is a good fit however, there is still more room there to push it further out. I just didnt want to get into fender rolling/shaving etc...

they look kinda generic. offset would definitely be inside the fender. unless that's the look you want, forget it.

Just like everybody else said don't trust Ebay 100%. I don't like the rims bro but it is your car. Clearing the front calipers is a common and difficult problem on 95 and up. I went through a dozen rims before I got one that cleared the calipers. Search for the thread "post your wheel set up" and you will see dozens of good examples that will fit and not break the bank.

Thanks for the compliment TJW, I really appreciate it. I am not done yet. It is still a work in progress.
And just a little FYI for everyone,I am about to make a condession. My rims came from Ebay as well. I really didnt have alot of money to invest in rims and these just happened to fit my budget. Little/no problem with them, clear the brake calipers with no problem at all, and were affordable. The only thing I did have an issue with was finding a place to make a hub ring to compensate for the bore differences. Small PITA but not impossible. My wheels fit all of the required dimensions, however when i bought I didnt think about the center bore. Anyways all worked well.

theres a difference though, i for one dont hold anything against ebay, but i do hold something against stupid ****ty no-name wheel companies that make poor quality 1piece cast wheels. your wheels iirc are from a well known company, LDR, so there wasnt any question about quality.

also, you know as well as I that 1LS dont really have to worry at all about brake caliper clearance. but us 2LS guys can have a big problem finding generic/ready made wheels that clear our calipers.

The offset is +40 245/35/20 on a 7.5 rim.
I think I learned something.My next rim will be around 35mm offset to make the wheel and tire more flushed with the fender.My +40 offset also seem flusehd to me.
