Question: toward what numbers the offset will move closer to the fender?
My wheels say 50. If I want it more expanded to the fenders, "40" is outwards or not?

The higher the offset the more inward the rim will be. The lower the offset the further out it will be. So, an offset of +40 will move the rim further out than the offset +50 given the same rim width.
My 90 ls has rims with +40 offset and it is flushed with the fender. That is what the installers told me.The higher the offset the more it will stick out from the wheel well.If I am wrong please correct me.
