Good news I'm buying it! $12,900. $5,000 this Friday, the rest Monday<bank permitting>, could of offered less but we are nice.
I'll let car toys handle it when I come back to Houston, shouldn't cost me a dime. I'm looking at starting out by ordering the chrome handles again buying some springs, any suggestions? I was looking at them looks likes around 300 not to bad for a nice drop. Next I would like to change the HID lights, I'm going to go with the the ice/blue ones. I think they look best plus new lexus cars are have the blue dash lights. I also took out the blue led lights from luxury mods out of my 94, hopefully they will fit in my 1998. Going with the blue lights I think is going to look cool since thats the color new ones switched to from yellow.Eyelids would be next I think
What do you guys think? I'm looking at ordering the Tanabe DF210 springs asap, looks like for only $200 I can get a nice drop. Advice? Or are springs that drop it not good with stock shocks.
I'm use to being a 1st gen ls its going to be weird going to 2nd gen, can't complain though
edit-
heres the same color imperial jade on dubs

the foglights or the small ones on the corners of the bumpers?
foglights is pretty straight forward.
bumper markers have 2 nuts behind them u need to undo , best way it so remove the splash shields and go in from underneath. BE VERY CAREFUL TAKING THEM OFF, you could RIP OFF YOUR BUMPER if you pull too hard.

Real bad news, took it into the dealship to get serviced. It was shaking at high speeds when the break was pressed: BAD NEWS
Needs new back breaks $820
260 labor
400 rotors each
90 pads
55 shims
The also said there we some problems that would eventually need fixing:
engine mounts colapsing: 600
seal power steering:670
cracking strut bars: 765
This horrible

rotors:
Brembo OEM blanks = $68/each+shipping =136+shipping
Hawk HPS pads = $55/axle = 55+shipping
labor=hourly w/e
shims = dont normally need to replace, but u can get them from toyota/lexus for <$20/kit
engine mounts=nothing new, do it later. mounts are approx. $150 iirc +labor at a shop.
strut bars are ~$120-140/each and replacing them is diy-able if ur somewhat mech. inclined.
PS-depends on whats leaking, small leak may be workable.
dont stress, just dont ever let the dealer**** touch your car
