accleration problem
hey i was wondering if any one would know whats up with my 92 LS400 with 79K miles on it
just recently my car would have a problem accelerating and running right when ever i tried to get on the gas, at around 4K to 5K rpms the car would hesitate and not want to accelerate most of the times its done that was when it down shifted and i was in the 45mph range
around town driving it does just fine, and i really dont get on the gas too much, mostly only when im getting on to the highway or passing a car.

ii agree. do a seafoam treatment (do a search).
then change the spatrk plugs and wires.
not that i think the seafoam hurts the plugs.
a mechanic i told this too said, if anything,
the seafoam will CLEAN the plugs.
but at 80k, the plugs probably need changing if not
done already. plugs and wires do not cost a lot and
can work wonders.
do the little things before spending for the big things.
