I chose the BKR6EIX-11 when I did the 25,000 miles ago.
Jason Phan of JPI told me not to bother with changing the wires.

My guess would be that Denso is an OEM wire for the LS.

I am now at 195,000 miles.

You would be correct. Denso or NGK both satisfy the OEM requirements.

That would be correct. No distributor(s) at all.

Yep, all you really need to change are the spark plugs, but that only goes for the '98-00 LS400's. 1995 still uses distributors and plug wires.
