after consulting quite a few exhaust shops and tuners (incl. some that had experience tuning the 1UZ) i realized that getting mandrel bent for a stock motor 1UZ (ie-not FI or built bottom end) is not worth the extra cost and time. good sized crush bent (2.25-2.5) with good placement and minimalization of bends will provide the similar increase in performance as a mandrel bent system. now, if u were running any kind of FI, or perhaps upp'd the compression by building the bottom end then its a different story.
