Nearly ALL cars and bikes are set up rich from the factory , this is because " Rich " is safe , this especially applied in carby days , the margin might now be less because of fuel injection but there are still plenty of gains to made as Tainted Drifter said .
One of the best things about the Mines is it's already been set up for the 1uzfe , no dyno work .
I don't have to put mine on the dyno as all this is already well documented , I'll see if i can dig up a dyno sheet .
I think there's one on Full Strength Planet Soarer .
I too am weary of seat of the pants stuff , that's why I use speed acheived between two points and the can't spin it up no matter what and now I can .
Not really worried about the HP gains , just in everyday use the car is better , even my wife siad the car is crisper and faster !!

However, I humbly disagree about getting it checked. Whether that be on the dyno, track or road. You absolutely should check your A/F ratio as your car was NOT the car the ECU was programmed for. (although it "should" be somewhat close enough)
Not all attributes are 100% the same. However, the OE ECU should be able to cope with anything that could come up. Timing can be pulled and fuel can be trimmed.
Best Regards!
