Default Where can I find a Steering Wheel?

Hey Guys,

I've got 2 JDM LS400's, one is up for sale on these forums, but the other is a keeper - it's the Toyota Celsior, with the rear reclining, adjustable and heated seats, full navigation, and only 65,000kms... so sweet.

My problem, though is that the steering wheel is quite nasty and worn. The owner of the car was probably a mechanic in Japan who didn't clean up after getting into the car and driving around, so I would like to replace the wheel.

Of course, I don't mind if the wheel has a Lexus symbol on it instead of the Toyota, but I called a dealership and they wanted $2000 for the wheel. That can't be, can it?

Any suggestions on where I can find a wheel with an airbag?

Thanks,
Michael Kent

not really, just the wheel is around 250-275 for a used one - no airbag
airbags go for 300+, so you're looking at at least 500+ from ebay
and ther is not that many airbags listed on ebay

The wheel is separate from the airbag so the original air bag would be kept .
What year and color is the interior?

Yes, I would definately have to remove the airbag. The interior is a light brown - common Toyota/Lexus color.

FYI - I called American Stitches and visited their website - they are an absolute steal. I haven't even used them yet, but they sound fantastic. The price quote I received was $250 for the job, and an additional $250 if they have to import the leather custom, but they have tons of types in stock. Can't find pricing like that anywhere. Plus its a 5-7 day turn around time.

Thanks so much for the help guys! Made my life so easy! Now if I can only get the clutch chatter sorted on my Supra...
