Default Tire wear on the outside edges?

I am seeing excessive tread wear on the outside edges of my tires, especially the fronts.

Is this most likely an alignment issue or a worn suspension issue?

Thoughts? TIA

Good sign of probable under-inflation, also.

Default Tire Wear

Had similiar issue and ended up being the toe.....

Go get it aligned before you have to replace the tires like I did.

Good Luck.

Good God someone asked, I was wondering the same thing. I thought it was + camber, but normally that shouldn't be the case unless other suspension part is worn. I think?

wow.. i have that same issue.. but i thought because it was the bigger wheels.. and.. when i turn.. the.. wheels lean.. and.. the outer edge of my tire rubs the ground... or is that another issue?... =/

If it were the suspension, the car would sag and have camber that would wear the inside not outside.

If both the inner and outer are wearing out I would suggest under inflation of the tires. If just the outer tires are wearing out especially the front I would suggest toe. Too much toe in will cause this. You need an alignment.

Camber issue, Wheels are too big, under-inflation, or your alignment is wrong. I think all of that has been stated already

camber issues on teh LS cause inner tire wear, toe causes outer.

i had r&r'd my steering rack and didnt get a chance to get an alignment right away. both front wheels had inner wear after a while because of the toe adjustment.

Believe it or not, misaligned toe causes more inner or outer tire wear than camber. If I could only get one or the other alignment spec sorted out, I would opt to correct the toe over camber.

Most likely positive camber. If it's toe in or out it'll have saw tooth pattern wear. If it's negative camber it'll wear on inside of the tires.
