INSPECTION OF IGNITION COILS (RH
AND LH)
HINT:
• When measuring left side coil, remove the battery.
• When measuring right side coil, remove the coil.
1. INSPECT PRIMARY COIL RESISTANCE
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between positive
(+) and negative (–) terminals.
Primary coil resistance (Cold): 0.41–0.50
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the ignition coil.
2. INSPECT SECONDARY COIL RESISTANCE (RH AND LH)
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the
positive (+) and high–tension terminals.
Secondary coil resistance (Cold): 10.2–13.8 k
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the ignition coil.

Well I plan on gettting the coil fixed but I do think its time to give it up and move on to a newer one. Its costing me too much money. Here are the pics you guys requested. before and after pics.

Your lexus has 2 distributor caps and spark plug wiring going from both of them to the spark plugs did you change them out ANOTHER THING POPING UP IN SOME LEXUS'S IS THE INTAKE GETTING CLOGED WITH CARBON THIS WILL HAPPEN IN AROUND 100,000 MILES. You can also have someone put your car on a scope and get a look at the firing of the spark plugs. I also use LUCAS FUEL INJECTION CLEANER ABOUT 3-4 OUNCES PER EVERY OTHER TANK OF GAS. If you can get lucas fuel injection clearner try some other brand. Are you using 87 octane if so move to 91 octane or higher this some times helps.
If your distributors should be bad while you have the engine tore down replace the timming belt water pump ect. 200,000 miles on a lexus is considered normal I have seen 300-400 to 568,000 miles on different lexus's with the same trans and motor.
