I am interested in putting IS350 18s on my LS400 as well. Is this something you can do with a few jacks and tire iron or do you need special equipment, assuming the rims/tires are balanced already?
Also, will having 4 rear rims/tires (rears are wider because the original setup is staggered) be a problem?

Could there be any problem in having the wider rear IS350 rims on all four wheels?

yeah you are right...I don't want to take the chance of them sticking out in the front. That would just look wrong.

your rims actually look really nice already.
I am picking up my IS350 rims tomorrow and will try to have local shops match tirerack's price on some Sumitomos ($560 with shipping). If they can't I will order from Tirerack and get these installed next week. I don't know how they will look giving the car a 1" lift but in any case they have to look better than the stock 16s which are scratched/chipped/rusted from 14 years of use.

Will these IS350 rims clear the brakes of a 98-00 LS400?

Those look pretty sweet......

four of them Im not sure. I know my 18" spare fits snuggly!

Thanks for the complement, but they sit in too much...I might as well invest in some spacers

you can fit two tires and wheels in the trunk but the other two will need to go in the back seat... bring some towels.
