muffler delete plus a burnout
Well, today I got off work early and decided for myself what the muffler delete is all about. It was just a couple of bolts holding the muffler on. Off they came. Thats all I did for now. It sounded like crap in my garage, too much echo. I took it outside and it sounded good. No noise in the cabin at all. As a matter of fact, I could'nt hear anything until I accelerated hard. One question, will this affect my gas mileage or anything on the car? I am thinking of going with either magnaflows or a straight exhaust. Also, got a wild hair and my stepson loved the burnout. There goes the new tires!!!!

I Have Done The Muffler Deletion. Yes I Have Seen A Decrease In MPG. Im Not Sure If Thats Happening To Everyone Else. Im Going To Pick Up A JIC Magic DE VIP Exhaust. Which Pretty Much Replaces What I Took Off.

Thanks! Asyou can see, it started going a little sideways on me. The burnout goes for about another 3 feet and I filled the street with smoke! My neighbor just got done yelling at me. LOL! Something about a neighborhood association?

ive run muffler delete on both my LS' (new and old) and havent noticed any effects at all on mpg
the reason some LS do 2 wheel burnouts and some 1 is because over time the differential wear and cause both wheels to turn acting ALMOST like an LSD. no LS ever was optioned with a factory LSD.

What would be the best muffler to go with and should I also get rid of the one in the middle in front of the cat? Or should I leave the one on in the middle and run straight pipes? Anyone experienced with this?
