just go to home depot and get a air conditioner filter thing and cut it the same size as ur reg cabin filter. then just put the brackets back on and instal. better quality and u can probably make 4 of them for the price of one.

The Toyota dealer parts guys won't be familiar with the details of the Lex...it's no wonder they didn't have a clue. If this is your only local parts suppliers, you'll have to educate them.

Same thing when I went to go look for a bolt for my Lexus at the dealer. I brought the bolt with me, and he took one look and said, "I can't look that up without a part number."

After pushing him to do some searching around on the computer, he relented but was pissed. He didn't find it, or wasn't trying hard, plus he wouldn't let me have a stab at the computer (employees only he said).

I was gonna complain, but I noticed his tag said Assistant Manager. I can only imagine what a manager would do...

I don't let any of my filters get near black. My air intake just has to get slightly brown or grey before I change it. She's gotta breathe!

I dunno about the other Lexus parts guys, the ones I deal with the common consumable parts don't usually need to reference the pooters except to print an invoice. Just shows these guys don't wrench their cars nor have long term experience in the parts dept.

Norwalk Toyota has/had a lady working in their parts dept...I didn't think she'd be on the ball but I told her what I wanted for my '80 Celica and she went to the back and brought out what I needed in a span of a minute or so. I was like
