I'm going to have to try to do the paint treatment. As you would expect with a 9 year old black car, mine has fine scratches as well.

I'm sure you realize there is a visual indication of your gear selection in the center of your instrument panel, also? No need to divert your eyes down to the console to see what gear you are in, day or night.

Thanksgiving today, and I'm thankful for my Lexus!

As Etex notes, the bulb is not a big issue ... I've become used to watching
the dash indicator.
