What power wire? Typically you pull up the edge of the carpet and run any wiring along there.

My power wire runs underneath the firewall, next to the cats, but just far eonugh away so it wont melt, and then into the cabin underneat the drivers seat. There is a round 2" diameter rubber grommet that I made a hole in and stuck the wire through.

It then goes underneath the carpet along the side, underneath the rear seat, into the trunk.

I ran it under the firewall, but it's zip-tied to a drilled hole in some of the fenderwell plastic. Then under the driver's seat grommet and to the back through the hole towards the top right of the parcel shelf.

Mine had a small hole drilled into the firewall behind the mating. Run under the carpet beside the driver door sill and al the way back to the trunk.

You guys should mention what years you are talking about and the gauge.
I would be careful with drilling unless you know for sure the luxury car you are messing with does not have a firewall that is filled with sand for noise and sound dampening like some .
