I noticed that my TRAC light had never come on for the last several months. At first, I figured it was my new wheels and tread, but then I found a nice parking lot to test the system.

Pressing the TRAC On/Off button does, indeed, light up the little indicator saying if it's on or off. So I drove it hard and fast, and I could hear/feel my tires screaming and kicking. No difference on or off, and the TRAC light never came on. I got the car sideways, and still, nothing. Then I smashed the brakes, and no ABS kicking. What should I do?

I searched around and it seems getting the ABS system from the dealer will be about $2k. Is there a fuse I could check? Would popping the battery help any? My TRAC and ABS definitely worked several months back, lights fully functional and all. Is there any chance the guys who put on my wheels and tires could've forgotten something like a sensor?

Alright, I've looked around a bit more, and it seems it's most likely the ABS sensors. I'm still a bit confused as to why the ABS or TRAC light doesn't light up on the dash though.

Anyone know how much it costs to replace them for a 1992?

where can you locate those abs sensors?
