awesome! I can't wait!!... Ive been hoping to do this exact same set-up for awhile, but I didnt want to hack off the exhaust and through on some mufflers that made the car sound like a 1950s chevy truck...

Looks great by the way, very clean

wow dude, what a change. Did you cut the bumper yourself?

My shop wants up to 400 to make a complete system using my parts.

Hopefully this will help some of you that are considering changing the OEM setup. So all I have now is high flow mufflers and no resonators. I still have the OEM Y-pipe - may change later to X pipe and duals. For now, this is just fine.
hey steve!!

so this is what you've been up to these last couple months looks awesome man

post up a vid, il try to clean my car off this weekend too and post up my setup

I spoke to Lexkost and he told me how to do it - it was really easy and took just a few mintes. $400 seems OK but my guy said $100 to run the duals then $40 per side. I would have to buy the X pipe though. There is so much here about running duals and affecting velocity thereby affecting acceleration I decided to hold off until I could get more information. This setup sounds better than the stock mufflers and no resonators and changes the look.

So steveski, since you didn't answer above, did you cut the bumper yourself? It looks factory from where I sit.

Sorry - yes I cut them myself. I asked Lexkost how he did his before he swapped to the LSportline bumper. You can use either a Dremmel or a good utility knife. Before I cut it the muffler the tech held the muffler up so I could be sure I cut it out right. It cut real easy - nothing to it. All I need to do is hit the inside with black paint now.

Man I posted 3 videos under steveakasteveski:
Lexus LS 400 MagnaFlow 14225

I see them in YouTube My Videos but I can't find them when I search

I have a nice digital video camera but the quality didn't come out so good. I converted to MPEG1 Best Quality - seems like it should be clearer.

Now that I know what I am doing I will make another video tomorrow that will be better hopefully.

Geez Easier than I thought

Here's the driveby under moderate acceleration:

Here's one under harder acceleration:

Here is a moderate take off:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=682JDiOSifQ

It sounds still different in person than on camera. Now that I kind of know what I am doing I will make another video tomorrow. Remember this is the stock y-pipe with no resonators and two MagnaFlow 14225 mufflers. It is about twice as loud as before with the OEM mufflers and no resonators.

Overall I like it. This setup is quite a bit cheaper than Apexi's which I liked as much. The Apexi's were fatter and would hang down more.

Hope it helps some of you out there.
