We all here know that an LS with stock exhaust is very quiet. But have any of you accidentally tried to start your car again while it was already running? I never have, but I almost did tonight, luckily I looked down at the tach and saw revs. Man this car is silent. ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
For those that have made the mistake, is the starter still activated? Or is there some sort of interupter switch that prevents it from happening?

My car already had an exhaust leak when I got it. Since then I had cut off the exhaust entirely, and now I have straight pipes. Magnaflow mufflers coming soon.
Either way, I have not truly experienced the quiet-ness of a LS400, but at least I don't have to worry about trying to start it while it's on.
