This is the ever elusive Double Din kit for First Gen 90-94 LS 400's. -- Not many places carry it, and I've been to auto shop after auto shop and they mostly utilize Metra soley..
It is a bit costly, but I think worth it, it is a little rare, and this looks well made.

So between rhyi and myself, we've covered double DIN for 1990-2000 on LS400's
Good deal.

Well i guess their is a kit now , I notice you have to remove the wood trim above the HVAC panel to gain enough space to fit it though.
Might actually look nice if you fiberglass it to give it some stiffness instead of the cheap plastic they use. Then sand and paint to get a factory match.

Oh, well I didn't know the 'community' at large knew about the kit I linked. It was requested, and no one seemed to link one. Why no one has ordered it and has responded on this forum is beyond me.. I'm sure someone has
The kits I am linking, for both Gen's.. 1990-2000 is the only one the Metra website has listed.. So if Metra has a different one they'd like us to know about it must be a well kept secret
*Also I believe both of these kits are Metra's*

Is a direct link off of Metraonline.com .
-- Same type of 'Custom' kit for $43.xx --

I really would have tested this kit if I had known 'no-one' had ordered it because they were unsure of it.
