Heated seats problem!
'95 LS:
The heated seats in my car do not work. When I press the button the lights turns on however the seats do not warm up. The fuses are OK.
What should I check?
Thanx!

Most of us are experiencing heated seat problems.
It is the actual elements running in the seat. The driver side seat goes first. Basically, all of the movement in and out of the seat breaks down the elements.
Someone on here is doing an aftermarket replacement. That is really your only cure.

You must remove the seat from the car, then remove the top portion (back) from the bottom. Then remove the leather skin from the foam and wire mesh grids and do this gently. You may need some special tools to rebend the little clips that hold the skin on, but it is really not that hard. Just pull tight when fastening the clips to make the skin contour to the foam. The heated seat pad is on top of the foam and can be removed easily. Most cars have the same design. You should look for aftermarket for cost effectiveness.
