same poopy different thread
sup guys, awhile ago i posted about a problem i (caused) with my 91 LS.I cleaned the throttle body & when i put it back together the gasket for the "flapper" was blocking the hole so the car stalled when i hit the gas.I punched the hole out for the gasket & the car would only start for a split second than stall.Got no codes.Mechanic said injectors, fuel pump & filter ok, plugs have spark! In other words, he cant figure it out! He said if he sprays it with starting fluid it'll start otherwise its a no-go. Any thoughts?....again
P.S. I bought the LS 3 months ago & haven't been able to drive it cuz of whatevers wrong so if there's any1 in the central jersey area who knows what they're doin than hit me up.I'd rather leave it where it is n get it fixed with the opinions of others to help my mechanic, thats why I joined, thanks every1

Drop a pm to Aliga or TACH_Motor here on CL. Aliga and his brother Gazi work on Lexus and have done alot of work on members' of NELOC's cars. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Also top notch work as well.
Tach_Motor is a cert. Lexus tech and hangs around down in the NELOC forum and gives people advice on service problems. He may be able to help you.
BTW,, drop down into the NELOC section of this forum and introduce yourself. There are alot of local members in the NJ/NY area. You should come out to some of the local meets. Anyway,, drop a pm as I stated and tel him that I referred you.
