Car cranks every other day
In the morning going to work my car normally starts instantly one turn of the ignition switch. Recently in the morning it doesn't start as if its flooded so I use the manuel procedure for flooding and (sometimes) it starts other times I leave it and come back and it starts right up. Once the car is running its back to normal for the whole day or 2-3 days at a time then it repeats it self, now it seems to be worst not even acting as if its going to catch while cranking, and when I come back to try it again later it still won't crank at all. do any one have an Idea what the problem could be?

What car are you refering to? What do you mean "wont catch"? Can you here the starter engage? Does it sound like your battery is dead? Does it sound like there is no compression (just spins real fast). A little more info and we might be able to help you.

response to my first post
1992 lexus ls400, I meant to say the word "catch" firing up to start the car. The battery is good, and the starter is doing its job. The car isn't spinning fast has compression. I just returned from installing 2 coil packs, spark plugs, distributor cap & rotor the car actually started on the first try, I let the car run for awhile and shut it off and retryed to start it but it wouldn't start again normally once it starts I could shut if off and on 50 times out of the day until it sits over night then it hard to start all over again

When you go to start it, does it turn over hard, or does it sound normal. If it sounds normal, I would maybe look at the throttle body/cold start valve. Next time it wont start...remove the big hose that goes to the throttle body, open the butterfly valve and shoot a little starter fluid in, put the hose back on and try to start it. It sounds to me like your not getting fuel on start up. I might be way off.
Good luck
