on the hwy i have got close to 500 miles to the tank, i actually got those #'s the day i bought it driving back. dont know about around town but its not that great.

I think one of the best features about these cars is the gas mileage, especially considering it's a nearly 2 ton V-8. I rountinely get 18-20 mpg in mixed highway/city driving and 23-25 on the highway. I was driving a Maxima prior to this car and the mpg I'm getting from the LS is pretty much the same as that for the Max.

The LS is by far the best used car value available. I'm thinking about getting a Gen 1 for one of my kids for $3,000 to $4000. I have an old BMW 535 that I may sell and use the proceeds to get another LS.
