I just did the exhaust gaskets after the cats. I had to grind the excess rust off the cat and pipe to get a good seal and I used the factory part # 90917-06054 for which the dealer charged me $22.66, ouch.

Guys I too have a 95 ls400 and I think my fan clutch pulley bearing is toast. I noticed a crazy squel moan coming from that area. I can stop the fan and while engine is running and change the pitch of the noise. So the question is bearing or fan clutch? I am currently 400 miles away from home in san diego and scared to drive it for fear of lock up. Anybody in la or San diego with a garage and tools I can use?

Well, the fan clutch idler bearing is shot. It's moaning and wobbling around. I'm 340 miles away from home so I have to fix the car while in California. No way around that.
Next question, if I remove the fan clutch to replace the fan idler pulley bracket, what else needs to come off to get access to the bolts that hold the bracket? I'm trying to understand how intense a job this will be to fix local.
