If it is cleaning your intake it will not foul your plugs. It is just dissolving carbon build up and varnish which will be expelled from the combustion process.
Just a bad rumour.

I just used seafoam this morning and so far no problems, gonna drive to work in a little bit and then I'll be able to tell if it has improved anything. The smoke was not too bad but people on the streets were honking like crazy. Mind-you I live on a main road. (picture taken yesterday) You can also see why if I lowered my car it would probably scrape daily. changing oil tomorrow morning.

Had some spare Seafoam sitting around, about 1/3 of a can.
I had been intending to clean my intake manifold for awhile now but used most of the can up when I got some qustionable fuel a few months back.
I used the vacuum line that the Power Steering works off of at the front of the manifold, put a prop against the pedal to hold the rpm's at 2000 & sucked the remaining 1/3 of the can. When it would bog I would simply lift the hose out.
Just sent a dense cloud of smoke down the street & scared the hell out of a young kid walking his dog.

everyone seems like they have their own place to pour the stuff in. does it matter where you put it. can i just pour it all in oil? or should some go in, oil, and gas, etc... like what are the effects of putting it in one or the other? i have a gs300 btw i just always wanted to do this.

I've been told when you put it in your crank case run your engine for 20min. Revving it up now and then. Letting it sit for about 30, then changing it...
