At they meet they were chrome. After adding the trunk bar I decided to go back to chrome.

I like the black emblems on the white and black cars. I painted my gold ones gloss black until I removed them and repainted the trunk last month

I like shaved emblems. If it weren't for all the holes, I'd do that. But this is a close 2nd.

Here's how I dealt with the holes on my trunk.

i don't like it.

black looks cheap and tacky on anything other than a black car.

and then you have the problem of chipping. which means you'd have to completely sand and repaint all over again. seems like a waste of time to me.

for the emblems IMO, i would either leave them how they are or completely remove them.

for me, it's a NO for painted emblems.

if you learn to prep properly 99% of the time u wont have chipping, fading, or oxidation (if u use decent quality paint).

and unless u like to rear-end things, rocks and stuff wont be an issue on your TRUNK emblems.

my front emblem has been black pearl (home sprayed custom) for over 6months with no issues

Looks like a nice alternative to filling and repainted the trunk Mike I need to take a photo of my shaved and painted trunk and post - big difference.

Cool. How many more holes did you make to keep it on?
