the dealer told me that there was no codes to clear and maybe. Its seems that the light is stuck lit. I don't think that disconnecting the battery worked.

I had an extra ecm and replaced it and the O/D light was gone. Now I want fix it and put the original one back in.
You say you read the tutorial on Lexls.com for the airbag light. You must not have read the one on clearing codes; http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html Very easy to do yourself.

Are you sure you don't just have the button pushed in the off position?
You mentioned "the light was gone" and "seems that the light is stuck lit"

I saw the info on the website for the airbag light but I was looking to fix the O/D Light that might not clear by disconnecting the battery.

Right, that's why I gave you the link to his tutorial of reading and "clearing" codes. (same website) Either by disconnecting the battery or pulling the EFI fuse out for 10 seconds. Did you do either of those?
You mentioned using an "extra" ECU which the light is no longer lit. I don't understand, which light are you trying to get rid of if it's not there anymore?

the mechanic was not sure of the problem they wanted to trace it and I had an extra ecu computer. The one that was in the car he said was in diagnostic mode or something and flashing the O/D. So as a test they swapped it out. they were not sure if it was wiring or the computer or something else. I want to fix original ecm that one and use it because it been has been refurbished.
When they put in my other ecm computer the O?D overdrive light was gone. if you put the original one back in the light will flash.

OK now that explains more. Whoever rebuilt your old ECU must have done something wrong. Maybe Yamae will chime in and he will definitely know more then me on this.

There are 2 issues I need to confirm before I write some.
1, Did you disconnect the battery and waited at least a few minutes when you removed and installed the cluster?
2, Did you replace ECU capacitors?

I had wild bill replace ECU capacitors and then I removed the cluster later.
I might not have waited the 5 min. I had to adjust the steering wheel so the battery was reconnected at some point and then taken off again during the removal.

Sorry that English is not my mother tongue and I don't quite get your expression,"I had wild bill replace ECU capacitors". Do you mean that your ECU was recapped by someone and you had a big bill?

As is shown below, the cluster unit is always connected to the battery via 10A dome fuse and removing connectors should be done after the +B line becomes lower than 0.5V waiting at least a few minutes to avoid the damage to semiconductors. It would be the best to measure and confirm the voltage is low enough before removing connectors. The audio circuits and computer units have big electrolytic capacitors inside and they are still holding electrons some after the battery is disconnected and the voltage at the +B line goes down slowly. I hope that your cluster's semiconductors are not stressed by the remaining electrons.

Hello Yamae, Do you know Mr. Basch? I replaced ECU capacitors. What do you think what I can do to fix my problem?

It seems that changing the engine ecm did not make a difference the overdrive light is still flashing. They claimed it was fixed. The code might be 11. They did fix the air bag light problem. They cleared the code.
