Shaved looks nice. Good originality points, and I agree badges should not be applied to the car, or at the very least options of what badges, if any, should be had at the dealership.
For instance, on my 94' LS 400 -- I have the Silver Lexus emblem to the left, and on the right is there an 'LS 400' emblem? NO! Heh, the dealership apparently took every opportunity to advertise and put 'Williams' in matching emblematic form instead.
That should almost be illegal. I'm already annoyed at the front tag being 'tom williams lexus' and the tag cover being tom williams lexus.. But a badge on the car replacing the car model?
Now if I ever want to do anything about it I'll have to have minor/major body work done to shave that 'williams' emblem and repaint etc.
I don't suppose I have any alternative do I? Perhaps the LS400 Emblem would 'cover up' the old emblem , if possible to remove with just glue. (I'm sure it is).

Assume -- I make an *** of , well me.. not u so much ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks Drift, oh guru of Lexus knowledge, I am still very much a grasshoppa. --
But still to my point, removing the dealership emblem (where a Second gen LS400) emblem would be, and then putting a new LS 400 emblem without body work.. would be, possible? Or icky glue that you aren't going to hide, or be able to remove with 'goo off/claybar, and so on?' -- If it would turn into a proverbial nightmare I will just live with Mr. Williams name embedded on my car.

Hey for your grill, here's an awesome idea I think would look GREAT on your car and I think it would be an LS400 first.
Get a billet grill and have it powder coated black!
Never seen a black billet grill on a Lex!

then you can put almost any emblem you want, but be aware that the actual "LS400" emblems have 2 metal posts on their backsides that would need to be ground smooth before u can use more adhesive on it to stick it to the trunk.

I agree I like the way Steve handled the exhaust on this car. Alot of people are using huge tips, and/or curving them (factory has a curve already I believe).
If I went with some exhaust, I would mimic the size/shape/ and angle shown here.
Very nice Stevski, and awesome job on a unique 'black' LS -- With so many out there it isn't an easy task to be unique AND look good.

Hey thanks guys. I searched all over the photo section to find muffler examples. There are plenty available to see what others did. I considered dual tips ilke the M5 however the muffler guy said on my car they could make some strange sounds so I went with singles. This car was always one of my favorites when I started modifying mine. He shaved the trunk partially, has cool wheels and body kit. It is pretty clean looking with not a lot of hype. I was going to put a similar kit on mine but decided not to:
