LOL... yeah, it was cold, but it was 36° when this was going on, so it was not too awful bad, but snow around here in November is RARE! We normally only get about 10 inches of snow per year and we are in a hilly/mountain terrain. I guess you would have to head into the California mountains to see snow huh? I saw on the weather on time that the "Snowiest" place in the the lower 48 states is some mountain in California... hard to believe. I have family in CA and where they live, it can be 85° and sunny, but in the distance, you can see a snow covered mountain... now thats cool!

Ha ha True about pics - I will snap a couple tomorrow at the office even though car is filthy on the outside - Stay tuned
I bought straight cut tips versus angled - they look kind of big but I like them over the old 3" tips. For the tag I wanted CLSIOR however somebody beat me to it.

Here is a dirty shot of the side with 4" tips and UCF20 tag. Haven't washed the car due to rainy weather. When Ryan installed his I was sick with my 3" tips and changed them out:

Here's a straight shot from the back. I wanted CLSIOR but somebody beat me to it. At first the pipes looked too big and I thought I made a mistake. After a week I like them. The only negative is that they are 10" long and now the resonance has gotten louder from the mufflers - they actually changed the pitch also.

One last dirty shot of the side. Ther car sits a little higher as I installed a set of coil rubber inserts B4 I drove 1,000 miles. Since no coilovers these increase spring rate however give a little bump in ride height.

Steve

Thanks for the pics. Car looks great. At first I thought something was wrong, then I realized mine doesn't have the mufflers, so yours look different with them

If you hadn't mentioned about the coil rubber inserts, I was going to say your car needs to be lowered more like mine

What size inlet? ...And did you get custom piping done or did you just cut the stock mufflers off and weld the Magnaflows on??

Yup 2 1/4" in and out. I had custom piping run from OEM Y-pipes with no resonators. I was going to go with an X-Pipe setup until I read the many posts by JBrady. Apparently the Y-Pipe setup flows better.

The 4" tips are straight cut - didn't realize that when I bough them. They look really large and given they are 10" long, the resonance increased quite a bit and the pitch changed. I posted some videos on you tube under steveakasteveski. I will make more now that this sound is so different.

I only changed them because of Ryan If he hadn't built such a beautiful LS I never would have grown tired on my old ones. I should go with coilovers but the car has so many miles on it. I was going to replace it with a 430 as a daily driver - we'll see. Ryan's stance is exactly what I need and then I could ditch the Bilstein HD/H&R setup for good
