I plan on driving the LS down to Houston in the spring, you can meet me in person and see the car.

At least I am not encouraging you to drive a Trans Am

I love my stance, low enough, but perfect for daily driving. I will try to keep the car for a while, thus I ended up putting th money into it.

I don't see myself in the LS430, after I am tired of this, I am jumping into a 2 year old LS460, those pipes are damn sexy.

Be good my brotha

What size is the stock piping to the mufflers? If I were to just weld on Magnaflow mufflers using the stock piping, what inlet size do I need to get on the magnaflows, any idea?

Definitely when you are here lets have a mini meet - maybe Sugar Land. Yup, I can't see spending any more for this beater but if I do it would be on Megans.

I may change my mind on the 460 but for now it is still too aggressive (styling) for me unless I throw a Wald kit on it That fixes everything

I am hoping another will chime in here (maybe Pure) as I think OEM is 2" from resonators to mufflers. Magnaflow universals start at 2" and up. I think you'd have to go with 2 1/4" as I did. They make mufflers with tips installed however the 95-97 have weird hook like things that protrude down - making the muffler installation hang too low. I wanted the muffler to be as high as possible to hide/avoid rubbing, etc. That's why I did mine like I did.

Maybe you could get rid of mufflers and replace resonators with satin MagnaFlows - then run 2 1/4" piping to bumper? It would hide the mufflers (like Ryan's). Something to consider.

I have polished mufflers visible from the back - I like it but it is kind of ricey to me (never satisfied).

When I drive down there, if you want you can buy my wheels and my Megans off my car, and give me the stock parts + cash in return.

I wish I kept my stockers but I have the Bilstein HD/H&R setup now
I even sold my OEM wheels as well - I figured I would never look back

One question on your Megans - now that you have driven it long distances, how is tire wear (inner) on front and rear? Since yours is much lower than mine it is unlikely the alignment shop could get it right? Just wondering.

I think you have asked me the alignment question before, and on my "fashionable cruiser" thread, I gave you the alignment detail specs.

Tire wear hasn't been that bad at all. Once the snow clears I will get some pics for you.
