SuicidnS13 the car looks fantastic. Did you get it repainted or is that still the original paint? I need to go in and get my car repainted and do some more work on her before I post photos. You guys have some very nice Cars and quite frankly I am very jealous. Being in Japan I have access to a lot of parts, but I do not want to fork out the money for a new paint jb knowing she will go back into a box in two years and have to sit for months on the water. Once I get back to California I will put some money into her. What do you recomend for wheels, aftermarket parts. I do not want to spend a lot, but I have a couple grand I can put into her.

HotTubTony and a few others with JDM plates. I just wanted to let you know that a 33 Plate or 300 plate would be best for our vehicles. Using a 90 or 56/500 plate means you do not have a V8 and your car is not a certain width. Be proud of the 33/300 plates and get your plates redone to match the actual cars. Sweet rides BTW, just wanted to ensure you were getting the best information and the closest plate to a true JDM vehicle.

Below is information on the plates w/annual road tax costs:

License Plate Category Fees:
- 40/400, 50/500 Plates : ¥7,500
- 33/300 (4.5L & below): ¥19,000
- 33/300 (4.6L & above): ¥22,000
- 11/100: ¥32,000
- Mini-Car: 3,000
- Motorcycle Road Tax: 126cc and above: ¥1,000
125cc and below: ¥500.

I went ahead and put the car down into the weeds as far as I could and took a photo. This is where the car sits when I am looking to catch a speed bump with my Resonator. The car is sitting very low in the picture and that is why I decided to go with the bigger Wheels to give me a little ground clearance. I am thinking 19" or 20" Wheels.

I also took a picture of the Mileage on the car as I know that alot of people have more then that and are still going strong. I love the 1UZFE motor and appreciate all of the feedback within this forum.

What size wheels are you running on SuicidnS13?

My wheel info is posted up the wheel fitment thread. But they are 19's. And my paint is all original. I searched long and hard for a mint, unmolested 2000 LS400. Although she is about to go into paint so I can have the bottoms black too. Im going to repaint her Mercedes Black.

I am liking everyones cars in here. It is giving me inspiration to go big or go home. I will be getting some parts very soon for the car and start getting her all JDM. I hope to have some good pics of the car in the morning after this huge Japan snowfall that we just had. We do not get snow in this area very often. Hope to see more Awesome Pics and look forward to some more information and inspiration.
