I thought it would go a bit lower also but knew it wouldn't "slam" it.
they will go lower if you droop the springs but than you are cutting into suspension travel and voiding the warrantee.
Here are some better pics.

droop is another word for hang. basically, you bring the top 2 perches down so your springs hang. the more you droop, the more lower your car will be. but yes, you do sacrifice suspension travel and it will be soft. you'll also void the warranty on the coilovers and it is more prone to blow quicker.

That does not look right at all! I have Megan ez streets and mine is way lower than that. I can pretty much go to the floor. Did you just adjust the top two collars or did u adjust the bottom collar as well? With these you are able to adjust both, bringing the bottom collar up will lower the car even more along with bring the collars on top down

Im not interested in cutting down the suspension travel to be lower. I may however screw one shock completely out to see if the entire threaded section is in fact shock body or if I can cut it lower (probably not).
another reason my car sits higher is because i have wheels from a 2nd gen with the 2nd gen tire size which is bigger overall diameter than the 1st gen. with a nice set of 18's and a way lower profile tire's it will be quite a bit lower(still not slammed). Im looking to have a bit of a wheel gap from fender to rim(a bit like "bees" ride a few pages ago).
