Nice, original car :-) The older a car gets, the more I like it when it has a stock look. My car has white turning signals, but the same rims for the summer tires. I have the original orange turning signals stored, and will propably change them back when the car gets older, to get it to look even more historical correct :-)

that's why he's got the reflective tape on the bumper, technically legal to the letter of the law

That's why i was asking him if the police was were messing with people out there and being so petty. I wouldn't want those reflectors on my car. on a side note... why are these all clear tails so rare? Besides me, I have only seen a couple other people with the tail lights.

I imagine the company that made them only did a limited run, and that company is either out of business, or they simply discontinued them. Personally, I'm a fan of the RCRs, since the clears look more like "bleached" standard lenses.

yeah i didn't want to find out the hard way so i added the reflectors. they are indeed a requirement by law in the US. no issues as of yet *crossing fingers*. the reflective tape is DOT certified too !

yeah i didn't like solid clear on a white car which is why i smoked them. solid clear only looks good with black or dark colored cars IMO.

The solid white was a little much for me so I added some black pinstripes to match the car. Thinking of increasing the width. Currently a 1/4 inch. Other pic was just one I messed around with and turned out really good.

Such little mod yet it makes so much difference visually....great idea/great job.

I agree with Timmy0tool...leave the width as is.
