Had some film developed and scanned recently, here's some pics from the Celsior's first winter.
Beautiful. My LS's first winter consisted of almost breaking an axle and then sliding down the hill into a culdesac. I love the one piece headlights on Celsiors.

Oh I had a real scary moment going to work one morning in the worst of the snow and ice. The back end went out on me in the middle of a downhill s-curve but I was able to stop before I hit the curb on the other side of the road. Luckily it was early in the morning and I was the only one out there. Other than that it's performed admirably on all season tires.
And I have to say I agree, haha the Celsior lights are a much more cohesive item than the LS400 lights. I wonder why they were never used on the US cars.

It's all thanks to government regulations. From what I remember reading, the headlight and fog lamp had to be in separate lenses in order to be SAE compliant. The same thing can be seen on 80s-90s Mercedes-Benz W126 S-Class sedans, which also had glass lenses. In Europe, the LS has bumper mounted fog lamps, and the area where the fog lamp is on the USDM LS is the high beam on European LS models.

So now we have all number of exotic headlamp configurations and they all have cheesy yellowing plastic covers, from the Mercedes S600 on down to the Ford Focus. Lack of regulations!
The plastic parking light lenses on my '91/'92 Lexii are sparklingly clear still . . . and I like the dedicated-constrained-in-their-own-housings yellow for the fog lights, just a dumb fanboy:
^^^ That picture was from right before my last drift day ^^^
vvv This is the day after vvv
Day After with messed up fenders and super dirty. Im not a fan of the headlights or the lexan rivets on the sunroof
I didnt really like using the lexan stuff so I welded the sunroof and started thinking of a new paint job.
sunroof all welded and smooth...getting ready to repaint, maybe just the roof maybe the whole car
You should definitely post a build thread bro. It's so rare to see LS's steer away from VIP builds and still look really good. Plus, it's a UCF10, which is rare to build period. At least throw up an insta or FB or something lol.
Welcome, and congrats! You don't see one with that combo every day.
Did that sun shade come with the car? The interior of yours still looks very red, and not pink like some I've seen. Red is the most susceptible to UV damage from the sun, so keep that car waxed!
out with some friends. installed the GT Radial Champiro IcePros this morning just in time for a snow storm in MN tonight. good night to test em out and WOW they did an excellent job.
