91 LS400 with 71k...rescued from local salvage yard
GS wheels...air suspension deleted...95+ front brakes. Hoping to make Austin Radwood show in February! Black Jade pearl in the sunlight, still looks black...
I am new to the forums and thought I would post some recent pics I took of my pop's new Lexus. We have always been a huge fan of the Ls400 and we currently own a couple. Amazing cars! Anyways these pics were taken right after I conducted a minor service on the vehicle. This vehicle has no modifications (yet). Opinions are welcome. Car currently has 84k miles on it.
Extra clean sell it to me LMAO.. no really lol

Hey everyone, here's my '98 LS 400, got it a couple of weeks ago with 175k km (about 110k miles) so right now I'm going through the whole car to see what needs done and make sure everything's in order.
Runs as expected, no error codes or warning lights, and seems to be well maintained, except I don't have a proper record of what's been done other than what I've been told previous owner's did.
I live in Argentina and is very common here to find used cars without any proper records of the work done to it. What's not common is to find this specific car, rarely any Lexus' around, and mostly around '98-'02 models (only a few LS, IS and GS).
Reminds me of my 98 LS when I first got it. Without any records I would change the timing belt and water pump. Fix any oil leaks from head cover gasket. Fix any power steering pump leaks which destroys alternators on the LS. Possibly change spark plugs, alternator and starter if you really want to stay on top of future issues. All the best with your LS.
