Got my gf an LS to match with me
Recently my gfs kia blew up (no surprise), and was in need of a vehicle. So my dad helped me find something reliable and affordable, and we found this mint 430. She was in tears when it delivered.
We have replaced the missing centercaps since this was taken

Depends on how much damage the upper control arm & shock took when the whole assembly twisted, specifically, the mounting points.
Tie rod, sway links, upper arm, shock absorber, lower ball joint, strut bar, maybe the knuckle & wheel bearing... it could get pretty expensive.
It's an Illinois car so it probably has systemic rust, so if it had 250k miles and was mechanically pretty sour it's possible for it to total it out. The body seems in really good condition, but you never know.

i had a catastrophic LBJ failure on my non-prerunner tacoma after hitting an expansion joint on an overpass and it only took out the lower control arm and tire (they dragged at 55mph to a stop). everything else was fine, even the rim!
with the LS i'm more worried about body damage as that fender is likely twisted.

Went for a couple hundred mile drive today. I spent an incredible amount of time in 2nd and 3rd gear today as I drove across some of the highest mountain passes in the state. At 12,000 feet the 1UZ is down quite a bit of power!
Despite all of this ridiculous driving, winter tires, running A\C, heavy braking (wasting energy). I went up multiple mountain ranges, I went from 7000 to 12000 to 8000 to 12000 again. I do not understand how I got the 2nd best fuel economy I've ever gotten in a tank. I confirmed with the receipt of fuel I put into the tank, it's real.

Hello, this is my first time posting on this forum.
My name is Austin and this is my 1997 UCF21 Toyota Celsior. The car is silver jade metallic with tan wool interior. Modifications are wheels and coilovers.
These are a few photos I've taken of it in the last few weeks.

the car is in the shot so i guess this qualifies lol, but i love taking my friend's aussie for rides in the car! it's used to being in the back of his 4Runner so definitely a nice treat to ride shotgun every so often
don't worry i put down a spare bed sheet on the seat haha... i love this dog but she's not getting her paws directly on my expensive leather
the dog definitely gets more reactions than the car lmao

was down in charlottesville VA for a wedding last weekend... cruise control set at ≈75 for most of the interstate stuff, first 65 miles or so was a state highway with the occasional traffic light, and of course there was like 15 min of slow moving traffic once i got to the GW bridge... still have almost 10 gallons left in the tank!

just finally filled up for the first time since getting back from VA, tank average dropped to about 28 mpg overall after over a week of local driving... i normally fill up a bit earlier than this but really wanted to get to 500+ miles on this tank haha
