Exclamation Please help..95 LS clicking noise with brakes

hi guys, listen...im having a problem, everytime i press and depress the brakes when idling or going slow (under 40 mph) it makes a clicking noise..i have to press then depress the brake to hear the noise...its like a metal to metal noise...i recently changed my front brake pads, but the noise was there before i changed them, so i thought it mite be low breake pads and the caliper/piston makeing the noise, so i changed the brake pads but the noise is still there but its louder than ever...i could not see anything wrong, but its worrying me so gonna go see my mechanic on sunday....thanx guys...

Tough problem to diagnose without more detail and hearing the noise.

Where is the noise eminating from?

All brakes? Front? Right side/left ? Both?

Is it coming from under car? By the brake pedal? Engine bay?

With that information I could list off 4 dozen potential causes,.. we need to narrow it down.

Have you asked a brake shop about it? They will general take it for a spin and tell you what is up for free.. (or their best guess).

it could be a million things.. but im suspecting it being with the pedal assembly. Check any seals that may have worn out.

In my book, 1 million and 50 are pretty close to each other. stop being so literal and interpret what i say more

Don't mind Puredrifter -- He comes across fairly blunt,.. you'll just have to get used to him

lol! I didn't mean it in a 'bad' way -- Just a personality type of thing. Really hard to read 'tone' out of text... so I try to take things in the best 'intentions' I can... when in doubt.
