Hoping for clarification on unlit needle issue

Hi guys. I ended up getting a gauge set out of a 93 at a local parts yard for 25 bucks. The set is completely different from my 90 but the bulbs where the same ( I learned allot after breaking both bulbs I mentioned in my last post and Lexim was out of stock for two weeks). So I carefully pulled a bulb out of the new gauge set stripped the paint, put a thin strip of copper foil tape on it, primed and painted, installed and wal ah, it looked pretty good. Pain in the you know what
but I did it. Would have been allot nicer to just send it off to Jim or buy another working one but I didn't have the money at the time. Lots if luck and defiantly take your time if you try to tackle this project. Paul
