Use the same set-up as I stated before but go with 2.5" pipes, resonators, and a couple straight through mufflers. It will be loud but not a ricey loud. It will be a nice clean performance loud.
The sound level is all in the size of your pipes.
Resonators mainly tone down the "rasp" or "rice" but don't take too much off the overall sound level or "loudness".

OMFG what you said in the last line is exactly what i had in my head when i first put em on lolz. its funny coz yesterday someone stopped me and asked what car it is and if i swapped a 5.0 mustang motor in it and did not believe me when i said NO. so i dipped on his a$$ lolz...one question, what kind of exhaust do you have? i like the style of the tips
I have straight pipes from the cats to those mufflers (not tips
) on the end. Soon enough ill add an x pipe and headers and call it a day. Ill see if I can find one of my old exhaust clips.
