Well if I had known i was going to get called out on this I wouldn't have said anything at all.
Yes I dont like how visible the cans are or how large they are, imo they would look much better if they were tucked into the body and cutouts were made for the bumper. I really didnt want to rain on jcromes parade since hes so happy with it so I didnt say anything. He knows that I respect him and anyone who does their own thing.
Like I stated above all that matters is that hes happy with it, speaking of which whats next on the plate man?
I'm not calling you out at all, and I did want to make it sound that way. It's just hard to perfectly explain my reasons for asking. I just like to see other peoples perspectives on things. Thats why when I put pictures of my car up, I knew most people wouldn't like the 20's at all, and thats fine, and I love hearing their reasons why they don't like them. I do agree with you though, Brandicus, about the tucked look.
jcrome, are you gonna get a sound clip up for these like you did on your old 1gen?
me, lexkost, and brandon are just 3 examples of properly cut bumpers....
Thats cool and all Pure, but why did Lexus decide to install a VERY ugly looking exhaust on the UCF-20 compared to the UCF-10? I mean the 10 had 2 nice flush mounted chrome tips coming out the back, while the 20 had nasty looking galvanized piping aimed downwards. Therefore guys like you and Lexkost had to modify ur bumpers to facilitate any type of aftermarket muffler. Why didnt Lexus stick with what they had going? This is actually the first thing I noticed on the LS models when I decided to purchase one. I would have never paid upwards of $50K new for a car with an incomplete looking exhaust system, blah.

because, iirc, mercedes and bmw were doing similar things?
