HAHAHA yeah it was right in front of the Atrium. I'm 29, long out of school (but I did go to BU)... but I work out at Commonwealth Sports Club, which is basically the bottom floor of the Atrium. I was parked out there for like 15 minutes when it happened.....

And I always think to myself "it's just a matter of time before someone side swipes me in this damned parking spot""!!! :-)

The fire and explosion both happened at the rear of the LS, at the gas tank. The tank is inside the car, and won't come off in an accident. Not the safest design.

 

at first i thought you were rollin the old 22.5" steelies in the rear!

NOW.. Just think. That truck was a Class B truck that weighs 33,000 lbs loaded at the MAXIMUM!! Moving at 35-40MPH

Now think about the kinetic energy in a Semi Truck that weighs 80,000 lbs rollin at 65MPH...

The message is DONT cut of trucks... even if you are in the right legaly, it will certainly you that are dead..


Again.. glad you are ok... its just a car... cars can be replaced.
