you did a 7M-GE T conversion, not a real 7M GTE. you know as well as i do the rep the 7m motor has for blowing headgaskets
The 7M-GE has the exact same propensity to blow head gaskets as the 7M-GTE. Putting the turbo on the already high-compression 7M-GE is almost a recipe for disaster with the stock headgasket but somehow mine survived admirably well, even at 10psi on pump gas.
The only thing though is that I love the growl of my V8 which is not too aggressive. Ive never been fond of a v6 sound and 4 Cylinders are just terrible.
Then I guess you wouldn't have a problem with the 2JZ since it's an I6.
