Thanks for the info Uncle el, I will most likely upgrade to the grill (suspension drop is priority right now) that you have or the one in the Fabulous pic, they look identical to me. What finish are the slats? Are then polish, flat black or gloss black?

OR you might be able to find a UCF20 grill that you like, then retro it onto your UCF10... I did that on mine with a stock UCF20 grill, but I'm sure you can do it to aftermarket UCF20 grills...

I used to have the fiberglass grill mentioned earlier in this thread--it was painted pearl white to match the body, with black mesh screen insert. It actually looked good--kind of a Gen 2 Acura Legend Coupe look to it.

But now, it's billet, baby...

i dunno too much of a plastic looking cheapness to it. I think we need the contrast of the L or the inner black part with all clear front like yours.

I want to like it but it just looks like a toy

the slats have a silver stripe between black edges. the black is a semi gloss finish (not flat, not high gloss):

here's a pic from above (sitting flat against my kitchen table):

Not positive, but pretty sure it is. I got it 2nd hand. It's billet, polished (not chrome). It doesn't have the black that the previous post mentioned.
Nothing 'plasticy' about it in person--looks like it was carved out of solid steel.
